About Scott Fowler
Some explanation of Scott Fowler Ministries is necessary. This website and aspect of our ministry does not reflect a shift away from our pastoring ministry. No way! But, along with my normal duties as a pastor, I have always had the pleasure and sobering opportunity to lead the body of Christ (in some measure) in worship. For many years people requested a CD and about three years ago we finally did it!
So, the purpose of Scott Fowler Ministries is to encourage the body of Christ, through music, writing, and an occasional sermon (and whatever else the Lord gives me to share).
Well, one thing I have learned recently is that there are more Scott Fowlers than I was previously aware of, and some of them are doing things that I would be embarrassed to tell you about! So, it’s good to be able to give you a little of my background.
I am currently on staff as the Pastor of Assimilation and Discipleship at the Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle on Long Island, New York. What an adventure it has been to come to New York!
I have been pastoring officially for almost twenty-two years, involved in church ministry for thirty! Our present position in New York has given us the greatest opportunity we have ever had to serve the Lord and His body in the area of our giftedness!
I have been married to Penny for almost twenty-three years! We have three beautiful children (Seth-20, Kate-17, Grayson-5).
